Why are seamless aluminum gutters better than plastic gutters?

Will snow and ice damage the gutters?
Deschaine Seamless Gutters are installed with hidden gutter hangers which are screwed to the fascia 16" on center and a screw between each hanger in most application. The weight of snow and ice is not an issue on asphalt roofing. On houses that are roofed with slate and metal roofing - there has been incidents where the sudden sliding of large amounts of snow and ice have damaged the gutters.
Do the gutters come with a cover?
No, however there are several different styles of Leaf Gutter Guards, Gutter Tunnel, and Gutter Screens that can be used effectively with the Deschaine Seamless Gutter Systems. Best of all - You will never have to clean your gutters, again!
